HOTEL

For your stay in the hotel during WINTER we have an interesting halfboard PACKAGE. Included are the stay in a room with ensuite toilet and bathroom, 3 course dinner and a well balanced breakfast buffet. The dinner blackboard menus change every day and give a choice of various starters, mains, including a vegetarian option and cheese/desserts, all homemade with fresh and local products where we can.

If on your arrival day you arrive too late for dinner, we prepare a nice snack with artisanal cold meats, cheese, home made cereal bread and a dessert, served in the bar, or waiting for you in your room, depending on time of arrival.

*  The room price includes

- comfortable beds with "bien-être" pillows and duvet. Bedsize in a double bed is 160 x 200 cm, in a single twin bed 90 x 200 cm

- complementary bottle of water in the room

- coffee and tea making facilities in the room

- a delicious breakfast buffet with a variety of sweet and salty options. There is also a large gluten free section.

- a daily changeing 3 course dinner with choice of various starters, main courses (including daily changeing vegetarian option), cheese or desserts, homemade with local and fresh products where we can

- free use of the ski room with tools to prepare your gear

TARIFS SUMMER

The halfboard PACKAGE is also available in SUMMER, but since the rythm in summer is different from winter, in summer some guests choose not to tie into halfboard, and prefer to choose from the menu instead.

-free use of the bike room and storage to prepare your bicycle before the climbs of the legendary cols of the Tour de France

In summer breakfast and dinner are served on the terrace, if weather allows us, from where you have panoramic views over the glaciers of the La Meije massif.

BOOKING CONDITIONS / Cancellation Policy

In the event of new restrictive measures related to COVID which prevent you to travel to Europe/France, you can cancel free of charge and postpone your trip. The deposit can be used for a future trip, or if you prefer, we will reimburse the full amount of the deposit paid.

For other cancellation reasons unrelated to COVID-19, the usual conditions apply:

In the event of cancellation no later than 4 weeks before the start of your stay, your deposit will be returned. For a cancellation occurring between 4 and 2 weeks before the start, 50% of the deposit will be retained. After this period, the deposit is no longer refundable. We always do our best to re-let canceled nights as much as possible. In this case, we will reimburse you the amount corresponding the re-rented nights. Changes to your stay are possible, subject to availability of suitable rooms. In the event of cancellation during your stay, the price of the room for the nights cancelled is due in full (excluding meals and breakfasts).

We recommend taking a travel cancellation insurance as a precaution against unforeseen events or injuries/illness.

For group reservations, different policies apply. Please contact us if information is required.

OTHER GOOD THINGS TO KNOW

• Check-in time is from 15h00, check out time at 10h00. You are welcome to leave your luggage with us after check-out if you want to spend the day in the mountain. You can take a shower in the sauna area before you leave La Grave.
• There will always be someone around to help you from 7 AM - 1 PM and from 3 PM - 10 PM. We don't have a reception desk, just ring the (cow)bell!
• A local tourist tax (taxe de séjour) of € 1,10 per day and per person will be charged as a supplement (arrêté municipal)
• The hotel is 100 % non-smoking. This means no smoking in the rooms, nor on the terrace. Enjoy a smoke free terrace with pure mountain air, soak up the views and indulge!
• Unfortunately our hotel size and absence of elevator make it difficult for us to accommodate people with reduced mobility.
• We love dogs, the loyal companions, however four footers and other pets are not allowed in the hotel, nor on the terrace.
• In winter, some cols are closed permanently or occasionnaly due to weather conditions.  Before heading towards La Grave, check the conditions.  And certainly don't try to come via Valloire, as the col du Galibier is closed from end of October till beginning of June!
• For ecological reasons and in order to reduce the carbon impact, you can favor walking or cycling. The Téléphérique cable car can be reached in 5 minutes on foot ;-) We can also organise e-bikes for you to rent.
